Welcome to our second video from PiControl Solutions on practical Industrial System Identification and Process Control as we continue with a series of short, practical, and useful educational videos.
In this video we continue with Transfer Function models. We will show you how to visually identify Zero-Order Transfer Function parameters with a delay, and like in the first video, we use our industrial simulation package SIMCET, to simulate the zero-order process for which we identify parameters only by visual analysis and a bit of mathematics.
This short video covers the differences between First and Zero-Order Transfer Functions, and how to identify process gain, and dead time of the Zero-Order Transfer Function.
Give us a thumb up and share it if you like it, and don’t forget to subscribe to our channel for more short and practical educational videos in the field of process control.
SIMCET is a real-time, online PID tuning simulator for practice and testing of tuning skills. Tuning PIDs in SIMCET is exactly as if you are tuning loops in a real plant, therefore, it is a great way for inexperienced technicians and engineers to gain knowledge and confidence in PID tuning.
